How are you all?  I am settling into the New Year pretty well, still feeling optimistic, despite a week with flu:/  The nice thing is that my work hours have been changed from mornings to afternoon/evenings, so I get a lovely lie-in every day - perfect!

For the first time in many, many years I managed to have a wonderful, magical Christmas.

Most of it was spent snuggled under a duvet with someone very special.  I got the gifts I wanted - love and happiness!  Plus I also got some perfume.

Hello once again!

Well, I know it's been ages since I last wrote, but that's because a lot has happened!  Some good and some bad - as usual!  First, the good stuff - I got a new job, basically doing the same thing (reception/box office/marketing etc) but for better money. I also got a new flat, all to myself...  It's not paradise but at least it is warm (unlike my last place) and also has thick enough walls that I can get up to whatever I like with whoever I like without getting complaints about the noise from the neigbours!  Also, my love life seems to be looking up, although I won't say too much in case I jinx it!

The bad stuff - nothing too major...  Moving house was a pain, and i got some things stolen by (I think) the removal people.  My last job ended very badly..  The person who was bullying me just got worse and worse and it ended with a horrible showdown where I was basically sexually assaulted (though not raped thankfully) and was told by the police that without proof it was my word against his & the implication was that since I am a freak & he is a 'respectable' person I wouldn't get taken seriously.  I should have pursued it I know, but I chickened out...  Anyway, things are MUCH better now, so I'll put all that into the past where it belongs!
